66^thRepublic Day was celebrated in the school on 26^th January 2016. Dr S R Ramesh, Dept. of Zoology, Manasagangotri, Mysuru University, Mysuru, was the Chief Guest. Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, Director, CSIR-CFTRI & The Hon. President, CFTRI Education Society, Mysore presided over the function. The programme started at 9.00 a.m. Chief Guest, Dr S R Ramesh unfolded the National flag and received the guard of honour by various troops of Boys Scouts, Girl Guides, Cubs, Bulbuls and the school band troop. Followed by that was the March Past and physical display & Rhythmic Exercises by the students. The Cheif Guest made an enthrolling speech. Sweet was distributed towards the end.
